Refund & Cancellation Policy

One Touch Invite sells a customisable, instantly-delivered digital service. Because the product is consumed the moment you start using it, our refund policy is intentionally narrow. Please read this page in full before purchasing. By completing checkout, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.
1. When you are eligible for a refund
A refund is available only in the following situations:
a) 48-hour pre-publish window
You may request a 100% refund within 48 hours of purchase if and only if you have not yet published your invite to a public URL. After 48 hours, OR after the invite is published, whichever comes first — this window closes permanently.
b) Duplicate or erroneous payment
If your card or UPI was charged more than once for the same order, or you were charged but no order entry exists in your dashboard after 1 hour, contact us immediately. Verified duplicate / erroneous transactions are refunded in full within 5–7 business days.
c) Verified technical failure on our side
If a verifiable bug on our platform prevents you from publishing the invite and we cannot resolve it within 72 hours of you reporting it, you are entitled to a full refund. In most such cases we prefer to manually resolve the issue and grant access — see §3 below.
2. When refunds are NOT available
We do not offer refunds in the following cases. This list is not exhaustive but covers the most common requests:
- The invite has been published. Once your unique URL is live, the digital service has been delivered and consumed. No refunds are issued thereafter, regardless of how recently you published.
- More than 48 hours have passed since purchase, even if you have not published. The grace window is firm and not extended on request.
- Wedding cancellation, postponement, family dispute, or any change in personal circumstances after publish. We have already delivered the product. We are happy to help you edit the invite (see §4) but a refund is not available.
- Buyer's remorse, change of taste, or aesthetic disagreement after the 48-hour window. A live preview is available before you publish — please review it carefully.
- Annual hosting renewals (₹500/year) once the renewal period has begun.
- Issues caused by you — uploading corrupted media, sharing your account credentials, deleting your invite by mistake, browser-specific display issues on outdated devices, or failing to follow on-screen instructions.
- Issues caused by third-party platforms beyond our control — Razorpay, Cloudinary, Supabase, your internet provider, your guest's device, or temporary outages at our hosting providers (Vercel, Railway).
- Account termination for breach of our Terms of Service, abusive support behaviour, fraudulent payment activity, or copyright violation.
- Custom structural changes, paid template upgrades, or any add-on services that have already been delivered.
3. Payment successful but features not activated
If your payment cleared but the order or invite features did not appear in your dashboard, we will verify the transaction and manually grant access within one business day. No refund is issued in such cases — the service is activated as promised. If for any reason we cannot activate, the refund route in §1(c) applies.
4. Need changes after publish? Use our edit support
You can edit your invite yourself anytime from your dashboard — changes go live instantly. If you would prefer us to make the changes for you, we offer a concierge edit service at no extra cost:
- Email hello@onetouchinvite.com from the address registered to your account, with your Order ID in the subject line.
- We reply with a structured edit-request form. Fill it in with the exact text, dates, or media you want changed.
- We apply the changes to your published invite within 24 hours of receiving the completed form.
This service covers content edits (names, dates, venue, RSVP fields, photo swaps). Structural redesigns, layout changes beyond the template, or new sections are treated as custom work and quoted separately.
5. How to request a refund
- Email hello@onetouchinvite.com from the email registered to your account.
- Include your Order ID and the specific reason that maps to §1(a), (b), or (c) above.
- We respond within 48 hours with a decision.
- Approved refunds are initiated through Razorpay back to your original payment method.
Requests that do not fit one of the §1 categories will be declined without further debate. We do not negotiate the policy on a case-by-case basis — this is the only way we can keep prices low and service quality high for everyone.
6. How long approved refunds take
- UPI — usually within 24 hours.
- Credit / debit card — 5–7 business days.
- Net banking — 3–5 business days.
- Wallet — 1–3 business days.
We do not control the bank's processing speed. If your refund has not arrived after 10 business days, write back and we will share the Razorpay refund reference for you to follow up with your bank.
7. Cancellation
Because the service is delivered immediately on payment (you get instant access to the customisation form), there is no separate cancellation window outside the 48-hour refund window described above. You may close your account or unpublish your invite from your dashboard at any time, but doing so does not entitle you to a refund outside §1.
8. Chargebacks
We strongly prefer to resolve every issue through email. Filing a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us is a breach of these terms.
We retain full transaction records, IP logs, payment signatures, and platform usage data for every order. Any chargeback raised against a valid purchase will be defended in full with this evidence. Pending chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of your account and the unpublishing of your invite. Confirmed fraudulent chargebacks may be referred to law enforcement and to credit bureaus, and may result in permanent ban from One Touch Invite and recovery of legal fees.
9. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or other applicable Indian law. Where this policy and your statutory rights conflict, your statutory rights prevail to the extent of the conflict only.
